Our specialists
ana anastopoulos
Mat Specialist
Starting on the Reformer, Ana soon expanded her teaching into the Hot Room before ultimately falling in love with Mat Pilates. Known for her intelligent, thoughtful and high-energy classes, she went on to open and lead within her own space, refining a teaching style grounded in precision, purpose and strong movement foundations.
Having experienced multiple training environments and modalities, Ana has firmly landed in her passion zone: Non-Heated Mat Pilates at Studio Mve. A space where strength, control and intelligent programming take centre stage, and exactly why she is our Floor guru.
AnniE Counsel
Reformer Specilaist
Trained under the guidance of an Exercise Physiologist, Annie’s introduction to Reformer Pilates was grounded in strength, biomechanics and purposeful programming from the very beginning. That foundation sparked a deep curiosity about how the method could be applied within group training environments.
Over the years, Annie explored and taught across a range of studios throughout Melbourne, experiencing first-hand the different approaches to Reformer Pilates. Those experiences ultimately shaped her vision for something more intentional.
That vision became Street Pilates a specialised Reformer space built around structure, progression and measurable client progress. A studio designed not just for movement, but for long-term strength, consistency and results.
emily kruz
Em has always had a natural eye for thoughtful programming, with a particular love for the intentional use of props. Known for her creativity in the studio, she brings variety and challenge to sessions without ever losing sight of the purpose behind the movement.
For Em, props are never used for the sake of being “different.” Every band, ball or block has a role to play, enhancing the original movement, not distracting from it. It’s an approach that keeps the integrity of the exercise intact while adding layers of challenge, awareness and control.
That balance of creativity and precision is exactly why she’s known as our Prop Specialist.
