what qualification do i receive after passing this course?
You’ll earn a Certificate of Completion for either Mat, Reformer, or both (if you do the Double Certification). Our certifications are nationally recognised by AUSActive (Australia) and Pilates Aotearoa NZ, and are respected globally, meaning you’ll be well-positioned to teach in studios, gyms, or independently.
-
What makes Train Me Education different from other Pilates certifications?
Our curriculum was crafted by industry professionals and active trainers. No fluff, just meaningful content.
Rather than rigid, textbook-based programming, we emphasise real-world class design, cueing, and modifications.
We provide ongoing mentorship through in-person educators and a supportive online community.
We don’t just certify, we train you to teach confidently, with tools you’ll actually use in the studio.
-
Who is eligible to enrol?
Anyone. Whether you're a fitness enthusiast, a professional in another field, or a Pilates lover wanting to teach. No prior teaching or instructor qualifications are required.
-
Is this course online or in-person?
It’s a blended format: we run face-to-face workshop days plus offer online modules, quizzes, and virtual assignments. If you miss a workshop, we work with you to reschedule (or run a make-up session, depending on availability).
-
How long does the course take?
You typically complete the program over 12 weeks from your first face-to-face practical day. During this time, you’ll work through your theory modules, complete apprenticing hours, and submit your class‑plans/videos. If you sign up early, you will have longer to complete your Online Modules & Apprentice Hours.
**Please note that this period may vary depending on how long it takes you to pass submissions & meet requirements.
-
What are the “apprentice hours”?
Apprentice hours are your hands-on practice: time self-practicing Pilates, observing qualified teachers, and refining your own teaching with practice teaching friends and family. These are designed to help you apply what you learn rather than just read about it.
-
Do I need my own Pilates equipment?
Mat Certification: Just a mat and a space to move. Some props might be optional.
Reformer Certification: You’ll need access to a reformer for your practical training and practice hours. We suggest reaching our to local studios about rentals or looking into Reformer Rental for your home.
-
What happens if I don’t pass my assessment?
Not a problem. Here at TME we believe in growth. If your submission “needs work,” you’ll get clear, constructive feedback and you can resubmit. We’ll support you to get to a pass, even offering one-on-one help where needed.
You will have 1 original submission + 3 attempts to re-submit before you will be offered a 1:1 intensive with one of our Educators.
-
What happens if I miss a face-to-face day?
You’ll be required to book into a make-up session that works for you (either virtually or in person) so you don’t fall behind.
This will be at an additional cost to your enrolment.
-
When do I receive the course manuals/materials?
You will receive a very special TME Welcome Pack in the mail which will have all the information you need.
Digital Access will be granted before your Practical Day.
-
What are the payment options and refund policy?
We offer flexible payment plans to suit different budgets.
Because spots are limited, and we commit resources to each intake, course fees are generally not refundable after the course start. But if something major comes up before the first day, you may be able to transfer to a future intake or switch to a virtual option, just reach out, and we’ll see what we can do.
-
Can I enrol if I live outside Australia / NZ (like in Bali)?
Yes! We run face-to-face training in Bali for certain intakes, and we’re also expanding with the arrival of TME Digital coming soon, so you can join from anywhere.
Join our waitlist to be the first told when those spots open.
-
what can i expect from the practical days?
Practical Days are used to go through exercise manuals in depth with your Educators, getting real life demonstrations, chatting through all modifications and tips in watching for form in your clients. You will also get the opportunity to practice on other students, to help prepare you for your assessments.
-
Do i get personalised Feedback?
Absolutely - This is why your submissions are so important.
It’s about more than just ‘recording a video’. This is where your educator designates time per student to watch you teach a full class, from start to finish.
Here you will be handed personalised feedback on what works, what needs improvement and tips to keep in mind moving forward.
-
Why do i have to do apprentice hours?
Because this is where the real learning happens.
You can read all the theory, but skill only develops through practice. Apprentice Hours give you the chance to apply what you’ve learned, make mistakes, refine your technique, and build true confidence.
Many instructors say it ended up being their favourite part of the course, the moment everything clicked and they realised how essential that hands-on experience really was.
Train Me Education is sad to announce that one of its founders, Kira-Leigh Rule, has decided to step away from its business and will no longer be affiliated or involved in its future operations. All future communications in relation to TME should be directed to Anthea Counsel as of November 2025.
